DAY 1: Arrival to Istanbul & Transfer to Hotel
After your arrival to Istanbul (IST) or Sabiha Gokcen Airport (SAW), pick up at the exit of first gate by driver. Then you will be transferred to your Istanbul hotel. There is no schedule on your programme today. Get some rest – relaxing – refreshment to being your tours. Overnight in Istanbul.
DAY 2: Full day Istanbul Old City Tour (Breakfast and Lunch included)
* Visited Sights : Hagia Sophia – Blue Mosque – Topkapi Palace – Hippodrome – German Fountain of Wilhelm II – Column of Constantine – Obelisk of Theodosius – Serpentine Column and Grand Bazaar
Our first destination is Hagia Sophia, the world’s one of the greatest and unique religious structure used as a mosque,a church and also as a museum. Hagia Sophia is housing two completely different cultures inside it, East and West.
When you take a step into the structure you can feel the dance of two opposite civilizations and come across the eye-popping blend of Islamic and Christian influences with extraordinary interior mosaics and an effective history.For more visual description you must witness it with your own eyes, surely you will admire it.
Then our duty is to reconnoitre the other masterpiece, Blue Mosque, built in early 1600s for Sultan Ahmet, and for this reason known as Sultanahmet Mosque in Turkey. Words are inadequate to explain its magnificence and beauty.
With its sequental domes and sin slender minarets, Blue Mosque dominates the skyline of Istanbul. The blue shade of the 27.000 pieces of Iznik quart tiles, giving the mosque its famous name, are very much worth to see.
Hippodrome & Monuments
We are going on exploring the ancient remains of Constantinople. Our next station is the Hippodrome with its 4 monuments – the German Fountain of Wilhelm II, the Obelisk of Theodosius, the bronze Serpentine Column, and the Column of Constantine.
Because of Byzantine emperors’ passion for chariot races in thre afternoons, the Hippodrome was the changeless center of sportive and political activities in Constantinople for 1000 years.
Are you ready to be astonished at Topkapi Palace (CLOSE ON TUESDAY), because it has many bewildering sides different from most of the world’s museums. Topkapı Palace was the administrative, educational and art center of the Ottoman Empire for 400 years.
It is a great sample of oriental architecture and includes a variety of activities such as exhibitions of art, books, jewels, plates, costumes, the treasury, and the Holy Relics. More than just an Imperial Residence of the Ottoman Sultans, it was the seat of the Supreme Executive and Judiciary Council for almost 400 years.
Our last station is the Grand Bazaar (CLOSE ON SUNDAY), Turkey’s the largest covered market at the heart of the Old City, offering excellent shopping.
At the end of this priceless day, you will be taken to the Istanbul Airport for your flight to Adana. When you land at Adana airport, you will be welcomed by our representative at the first exit door. Then you will be transferred to your Adana hotel. Overnight in Adana.
DAY 3: Depart to Antakya & St. Pierre & Museum Tour (Breakfast and Lunch included)
With the first lights of the day, you will be picked from your hotel and depart to Antakya (Antioch). Here Jesus’ followers were first called Christians (Acts 11:26) Peter, Paul and also Barnabas preached here. Visit St. Peter’s Grotto and the exquisite Mosaic Museum
After this stunning and priceless experience, we will transfer to your Adana hotel. Overnight in Adana.
DAY 4: Depart to Tarsus & St Paul Well & Depart to Cappadocia & Underground Tour (Breakfast and Lunch included)
After having breakfast at the hotel, drive to Tarsus and visit the Apostle Paul’s well, the Gate of Cleopatra, and the latest excavations. Then we will travel to Cappadocia. Today our last destination will be one of the widest underground city of Cappadocia region; it was carved out underneath a rock hill.
The first three floors were probably carved out by Hittites about 2000 B.C. There were those underground cities where the first Christians hid excaping the persecution of the Roman authorities. In war time about 5000 people found refuge in. Overnight in a Cappadocia.
DAY 5: Full day Cappadocia Tour & Flight to Izmir (Breakfast and Lunch included)
Cappadocia, with its centre in Caesarea (Kayseri), was once the heart of the Hittite Kingdom of the Old Testament. This vast area is one of the most photogenic landscapes in the world. Extraordinary rock formations have become symbolic of this region, where you will enjoy the Valley of the Fairy Chimneys and Goremes breathtaking Open Air Museum. Watch the potters at their craft, in the famous pottery producing town of Avanos. Finally, savor the natural wonders of the Citadel of Uchisar Valley.
Flight to Izmir
At the end of this priceless day, you will be taken to the Cappadocia Airport for your Izmir flight. (Some days direct some days via Istanbul flight). After your arrival to airport, you will be welcomed by our representative at the first exit door. Then you will be transferred to your Kusadasi hotel. Overnight in Kusadasi.
DAY 6: Ephesus Tour (Breakfast and Lunch included)
Drive to Ephesus where St. Paul stayed a while, visit the ancient city, House of the Virgin Mary, the Basilica of St. John, and continue to Miletos where St. Paul gave a speech to spread Christianity. Overnight in Izmir.
DAY 7: Smyrna – Pergamon – Thyatira Tour (Breakfast and Lunch included)
This morning take a beautiful Izmir (ancient Smyrna), After visiting the St. Policarp St. Paul Tour – Izmir Smyrna church in Izmir , continue to in Akhisar , ancient commercial place in connection with Troy & Sardes. Depart to Pergamum, visit to Asclepion, the ancient hospital, the Acropolis, the Church at the site of Serapium (7C) and the Red Court dedicated to St. John. Then visit Akhisar, the site of ancient Thyatira (7C). Overnight in Izmir.
DAY 8: Full day Sardes – Philadelpia – Laodecia Tour (Breakfast and Lunch included)
* Visited Sights: Sardes – Philadelpia – Laodecia
After having breakfast at the hotel, we visit Sardes, an extremely important ancient city and the capital of the Lydia Kingdom with its beautiful gymnasium and marble paved synagogue and the Temple of Artemis including ancient Christian Chapel of the 4th Century.
Then we will proceed to Philadelphia in Alasehir, a favorite city of Paul and John. Then we will visit the Laodicea, an early center of Christianity and one of the Seven Churches of Revelation.
At the end of our tour, we will transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Pamukkale.
DAY 9: Full day Pamukkale Tour & Flight to Istanbul (Breakfast and Lunch included)
With the first lights of the day, you will be picked from your hotel and we will drive to Pamukkale meaning ‘’Cotton Castle’’ and you will feel like you are in a dream, and get to Hierapolis ancient city. Before we start we will have lunch and then begin to tour the city.
Bests of Pamukkale
We will visit Pamukkale, Calcium spring terraces, Hierapolis museum, Hierapolis Theatre, Roman Bath, and Temple of Apollo. Finally we will visit Cleopatra hot spring thermal pool (fee will be extra), where you will be able to swim and have a relaxing moment in an awesome, unique place.
While you are swimming you may think that you are in a pool where once Cleopatra swam thousands years ago, may feel the nature and history together inside yourself.
At the end of this priceless day, you will be taken to the Denizli Airport for your Istanbul flight. After your arrival to airport, you will be welcomed by our representative at the first exit door. Then you will be transferred to your Istanbul hotel. Overnight in Istanbul.
DAY 10: Half Day Morning Regular Bosphorus Cruise Tour & Transfer to Airport (Breakfast included)
Our well informed tourist guides will pick you up from your accommodations with the shining beams of the sun in the morning. Our first destination is to the 17th century Spice Bazaar, an extraordinary, colorful and fantastic place to see where you can buy various gifts for your lovers.
Amazing Views of Istanbul
Our next station is Golden Horn, we will make this journey with an unforgettable cruise along our marvellous bridge, Bosphorus which is known as a cradle linking Europe and Asia. Views like wooded shores, rising mosques along these shores, a bridge that for a time was the world’s longest one, and Rumeli Hisari, a historical construction built by Mehmet the Conqueror will accompany to you. As well, it is surely beyond doubt that, efficacious 19th century mansions of the Ottoman elites and Sultans’ georgous palaces and hunting lodges will fascinate you.
At the end of this perfect day we will transfer you to your hotel. Then you will be transferred to the airport 3 hours before your international flight time. End of Services.
