Without paying for any entrance fee, you will be able to enter and have a seat when we get there.
The Start of Dervishes ceremony
At the start of Cappadocia Dervishes ceremony, a prayer to the Prophet Mohammed, a very significant figure for Islam, will take a place.
Then, the ceremony will begin slowly, at a very oriental atmosphere.
Combining the semi-dark lightning, striking silence and the coherent melodies, when the stage is ready for hosting the dervishes, they will show up.
Symbolizing the metaphorical return to God, the dervishes will turn around their own axis.
Amazingly, for an hour (the total time of the show), they will not lose their balance or harmony.
With their special clothes, moves and vibe, you will feel the resurrection and submitting to God
The earthly issues will be no longer important as they will make you feel, and you will get impressed and even inspired with the divine aura of them and the things that they present.
To sum up, during the entire ceremony you will wonder how they can keep going without making any mistake, you will feel peaceful, you will get amazed and you will want to learn more about their philosophy.
Generally known as one of the cultural symbols of Turkey, the dervish ceremony in Cappadocia is worth seeing when you are already in there.
During the show, do not forget to take photographs, since you may regret later for missing the artistic shots.

Reviews About Cappadocia Dervishes Ceremony
I really enjoyed the dervish show, I highly recommend it to everyone. Thanks to the Excursion Market for the opportunity to see the dervishes.
Even if these are not “real” dervishes, as some say in the reviews, it doesn’t matter. These people are clearly professionals, there is such an atmosphere in the hall that you almost immerse yourself in a trance %) I advise everyone to visit such a show.
Live music, a cozy hall and an unusual show. We don’t know, of course, a show or a ritual, but it’s worth a visit.
Nobody wrote, and meanwhile the acoustics in the hall where the dervishes are circling is very cool. As for the dance itself, I would say that it is danced by special artists, not dervishes, but the show is certainly very bright. I like it.
Hot air ballooning is not the only trademark of Cappadocia. The dervish show is also a well-known symbol and it is a great idea to watch the dervish show if you, like us, are also in Cappadocia. Before the performance we were warned (and it is also written here on the website) that we should be quiet and not clap during the performance. The dance of the dervishes begins smoothly at first, then the tempo increases. The whole show lasts about half an hour. In general, I liked the dance of the dervishes, I recommend to visit. I think now, if possible, visit the festival of dancing dervishes, I think this is an exciting show.
Almost dizzy to look at them 🙂 An unusual sight. It was cool in the room, and we forgot to bring warm clothes. In general, you can watch this show once.
The impression is really strong. You must go. You shouldn’t go with children, because there is nothing for children to do there. I liked it very much, thanks for the good organization and the original show.
I think that the dervish show is really a show, not a religious ritual. But what is the difference in principle? The main thing that we really liked was the fascinating sight. I definitely recommend everyone to go there.
