Ancient City of Ephesus
The first stop of our tour to Ephesus is the ancient city of Ephesus, as you can imagine.
Settled in a very large area, you will be able to view the characteristics of Roman Empire in its streets, marbles, walls, gates, columns, altars, structures, monuments and sculptures.
There are many outstanding parts to see in Ephesus, and the most popular ones will be visited with the companion of our guide, and the related information will be given by him.
Only as a spoiler, it can be said that you will be able to see the grand theatre of Ephesus in which gladiators have fought with animals; famous Temple of Artemis and the impressive library.
House of Virgin Mary
Nearby the World Heritage site of Ephesus, at the top of the Bulbul Mountain, there is House of Virgin Mary with an impressive story and structure.
According to claims, it is the place in where Mary has spent her last days; therefore, it is especially important for Christianity.
Since it has been built by stones completely, it is also interesting for travelers who are interested in architecture.
In brief, you will be amazed at our second stop of the Kusadasi Ephesus excursion.
The next stop of the tour will be Isabey Mosque which is famous for presenting the transition period between the Seljuks and Ottomans with its post-Seljuk and pre-Ottoman textures in the design.
It is a significant architectural art example of Anatolian architecture; therefore, it will provide a good source for photography and learning cultural and historical information. For sure, you will get both of them.

Reviews About Ephesus Tour from Kusadasi
Pros – everything. Cons – not found.
I would like to dwell separately on such a point of the route as visiting the house of the Virgin Mary. If Ephesus is known to literally everyone, then the house of the Virgin Mary, in my opinion, is not so popular and in vain. Beautiful place.
Anyone should visit Ephesus at least once in their lives. Well, if you, like us, prefer this region for recreation, then I strongly recommend visiting Ephesus, first of all, for distance reasons of these two places. In fact, in half an hour we were already there. Ephesus is perfectly preserved and even now the local authorities are engaged in its preservation and restoration. The house of the Virgin Mary also deserves attention, there is some kind of special atmosphere. I liked the tour very much.
I want to say thank you, many thanks to our guide, a perfectly educated person who knows about Ephesus, absolutely everything about that period of history. I liked the excursion very much, thank you!
We stayed in Kusadasi for the first time and of course decided to visit Ephesus. A very impressive sight and beautifully preserved buildings. We really liked the house of the Virgin Mary – a cult Christian building with a special atmosphere. The excursion is well organized, there is a transfer, an English-speaking guide and a pre-paid lunch. I recommend this tour to everyone.
Although I am not a lover of history and archeology, having arrived on vacation in Kusadasi I bought this tour. I thought that I would put a tick in my personal travel list, but I ended up in a wonderful place with wonderful people: a guide and other tourists that we can socialize. A really well organized tour: nothing more. In general, I recommend it for your trip.
One of the criteria for our choice of a place was the proximity of ancient cities to the chosen city. Mostly with the concern of this, we decided to choose Kusadasi. And when we arrived here, we almost immediately bought an excursion to Ephesus. We did not use the services of a hotel guide or buy a tour on the street, but after examining this site, we decided to buy a tour here. It was the right decision, we really liked the organization: the exact arrival of the transfer, already paid entrance tickets, lunch and an excellent English guide – a young man who knows almost everything about Ephesus. Many thanks to the Excursion Market team for our wonderful trip.
