Reviews About Fethiye Jeep Safari & Saklikent & Tlos Tour
I have long wanted to go on a jeep safari and finally my dream has come true. Early in the morning we were picked up from the hotel. An open-top jeep arrived. Tourists were also picked up from other hotels in a similar way, so that soon a whole caravan turned out from our cars. With this caravan we went on our excursion. First we visited the ancient city of Tlos. There are all sorts of ruins, for example, ancient tombs. We wandered around this ancient city, climbed to the top of the mountain, from which an impressive view opens up. Then we went to Saklikent. The driver-guide said that it is the second longest gorge in Europe. But most of all I liked the national park called Yakapark. Just after this trip, I already wanted to eat and rest. As far as I understand, trout is bred here and offered for lunch. The park was cool, clean, nice and cozy. There is a fountain, two beautiful ponds, and the park itself is surrounded by mountains. In general, the park leaves a pleasant impression.
After visiting the park, we went to the beach called Patara. And then we were taken back to the hotels. It was a great day. I advise you to buy this tour. I bought it directly on this site. It was an unforgettable day for me. Thanks so much
I really enjoyed this trip. Only of course it was dirty and dusty. But this is normal, since the car is practically open. A very good, thoughtful route. We could see a lot. I especially liked the national park. Thanks!
I remember the yakapark, where everything is in the Turkish style and very authentic. The park has a very pleasant atmosphere. It seems to me that I will forever remember how we sat in the shade of trees, ate national Turkish dishes and drank hot tea from national cups. I liked it very much.
Rich program and super route. I recorded a gps track on my phone, looked at how many kilometers I drove and where we drove. Fire! In some places, the phone did not even pick up, that’s what the wilderness we were. It is unlikely that if you are not an organized tourist you will get there at all. I definitely recommend it.
The jeep safari program is very intense. I thought that my son would get tired, but what’s it like 🙂 We both really liked it, only the son was a little grieved that “his uncle did not let him steer”. Next time I will buy a buggy safari on this site so that he also steers :)) Thank you for the tour!
In the jeep safari, I liked Saklikent most of all, which is a gorge between the mountains, along which tourists walk. I don’t think you can get here by public transport, but the place is worth visiting, so I advise you to take this tour. The price is reasonable, no complaints.
We were on vacation in Fethiye. Picked up early in the morning from the hotel. The road to the gorge is very picturesque. First we went to Saklikent, then we drove towards the ancient city of Tlos. On the way back we stopped at Yakapark and then returned back to the hotel. I’ll tell you more about our unforgettable journey.
Saklikent is such a gorge, at the very bottom of which water flows. You should put on special shoes (but it is better to have your own comfortable ones) and walk on the water. The water is about knee-deep. If you don’t want to wade across the river, you can ride a rope over the gorge. Or you can just sit at tables in the shade of trees and drink tea or coffee (there are restaurants in front of the entrance to the gorge). After visiting Saklikent, we were taken to look at the ancient Lycian tombs, which are carved right into the rocks. This place will be interesting for history buffs. We remember Yakapark as a fish restaurant. Here we rested after the excursion, and then the transfer took us back to the hotel. Thanks for this well organized tour.
A well-organized excursion, during which we visited the ancient city of Tlos, Saklikent and other sights and looked at the roads and landscapes of Turkey, which differ from our usual beach landscapes, by the way, for the better. After this trip, I wanted to rent a car and travel around the country, I liked everything so much. Many thanks to excursion market for recommending this particular excursion ❤️
I especially remember the Lycian tombs, carved right in the rocks. Very nice, interesting excursion at a very reasonable price. I recommend.
