Lets Get Into The Details of Icmeler Village Tour
You will be picked up from your hotel at 9:30am and taken back towards the end of the day at 5 o’clock. The price includes transport, full insurance, lunch and tour guides. The tour only takes place on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays and departs from Marmaris, Icmeler and Armutalan between April and October, its a really long time giving you the chance not to miss out. I would recommend wearing comfortable clothing as it will be quite a trip, and bring a camera to capture all the good moments!
They have great offers for children when it comes to the price. Children at the age of 7 are excluded from any fee, children between the age of 7 and 12 are charged only half the price. The first village you’ll visit is “Bayır Village”. First visit there will be to a local mosque where an Imam will welcome you with a smile and the guide will tell you about their local traditions and rituals.
While you are in Bayır Village you’ll have the chance to eat traditional honey which is produced there underneath a 2000 year old tree! Pretty amazing right? The next stop will be at “Turgut Village”. Its a traditional Turkish village which has been left there in its natural beauty and houses a truly mesmirising sight to see, this is where your Turkish lunch will be served and give you an opportunity to have a little rest and muster your energy for the rest of the trip. You will also be served fresh apples and a nice cup of black tea by a generous local family.
So after the village tour the next stop will be at a traquil beach located in Orhaniye and after that you’ll go to the last stop of the day which is Kızkumu, if you’d like you can swim here in this exceptionally beautiful blue shallow bay before you head back to your hotel. This just about rounds it off for this tour, we would recommend going on this one if you love forests and wildlife, and are intrested in learning a few things about different cultures.
