Pamukkale and Salda Lake Tour from Antalya Starts

This excursion starts early in the morning when the shuttle picks you up from your hotel. The exact time of the excursion is specified in advance and depends on the location of your hotel. On the bus you will be met by a Russian guide and will accompany you throughout the trip. He will give you an interesting excursion and will take care of you.

Lake Salda – “Turkish Maldives”

Lake Salda is called the Turkish Maldives for its similarity to the famous landscapes. But, unlike the Maldives, Salda Lake is curative. The white color of its shores is due to the hydro magnesite mineral. Because of this, swimming in the lake or walking barefoot on the beach is considered beneficial for everyone, and especially for those people who have skin problems. In addition, the white beaches of the lake are extraordinarily beautiful and the color of the water is eye-catching. Lake Salda is surrounded by mountains and is home to fish, birds and various animals.

Ruins of Hierapolis

On this trip we will have the opportunity to touch the ancient history and see the famous city of Hierapolis. The ruins of this ancient city are perfectly preserved today and are carefully maintained in their current state by the local authorities. Translated from Greek, Hierapolis means “sacred city”. For all Christians in the world, it is of great importance, since it was here that one of the twelve apostles, Philip, died.

Pamukkale Travertines

Pamukkale travertines are huge snow-white terraces. They are naturally formed and filled with calcium and mineral-rich water. You will see the hills of Pamukkale long before arriving in the town itself. From a distance they look like mountains covered with snow. For many of our travelers, walking barefoot on the travertines of Pamukkale is akin to culture shock. We associate white with snow, but travertines are not cold at all. They are filled with water and it is a separate pleasure to be here. Pamukkale is rightfully one of the eighth wonders of the world and is under the auspices of UNESCO.

Cleopatra’s Pool

Cleopatra’s pool was formed in ancient times. Its appearance is associated with many legends, which your guide will surely tell you about. You will have the opportunity to spend time in this pool. It feeds on thermal springs, so the temperature here is always the same, quite high. Bathing in thermal springs is very healthy, so don’t miss the opportunity to take a dip in Cleopatra’s pool.

Amphitheater

The antique amphitheater is worth a separate visit. It is huge and well preserved for its time. You can hear what excellent acoustics there; look at the impressive dimensions of the amphitheater. At one time, it was made in such a way: so that each spectator could see what was happening in the arena.

Salda Lake & Return

The road from Antalya to Pamukkale takes about three to four hours. From Pamukkale to Lake Salda, it is only about an hour and a half. Our excursion is structured in such a way that first we go to Pamukkale, and then, on the way back, we stop at Salda Lake. We are sure you will enjoy this excursion.

Everything is great!!!
The trip is amazing, I recommend it to all tourists. I liked everything from start to finish, from the moment of booking the tour to the final point of our trip. Everything is clear, understandable, thoughtful, interesting.
The place itself is striking in the beauty of nature, in Pamukkale I especially liked the amphitheater and so the thermal springs.
