The Wealth of Pamukkale
Pamukkale is a small town in the western part of Turkey known for the mineral-rich thermal waters flowing down white travertine terraces on a hillside.
It neighbors Hierapolis, an ancient Roman spa city founded in 190 B.C.
In the ruins, there are a well-preserved theater and a necropolis with sarcophagi that stretch for 2000 meters.
The Antique Pool is famous for its submerged Roman columns, the result of an earthquake.
Thanks to the fine white travertine and the historical value of the ancient city of Pamukkale, it was added to the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites in 1988.

Enjoy Your Free Time During Marmaris Pamukkale Tour
You will not be able to silence your inner voice that tells you to buy everything from the local bazaar of Pamukkale.
You can find unique hand-made souvenirs for your beloved ones or yourself.
After your exploring walk between the narrow streets with the smell of history in Pamukkale, you can pop at a local cafe just to have a Turkish coffee (we believe this coffee takes away all your tiredness by the way!) or some other hot/cold drink as you wish and you can get back to exploring the area after this short break.
If you hear that your stomach starts rumbling, there are plenty of cafes and restaurants that are sprinkled around the area and offer you different menus from the great variety of Aegean Cuisine.
(P.S: If you like mushrooms, here is an advice from us: Pamukkale is famous with the dish of mushrooms, don’t leave without trying at least one type of those dishes!)
Pamukkale Tour is Very Unique
After getting from Marmaris to Pamukkale by us, you won’t be able to believe your eyes when you see the immense travertines streaming in front of you just like icebergs.
After this one minute of shock, you can take off your shoes and socks and finally begin to experience the relaxing feeling of those wonder of natures while walking on them…
(PS: Please keep in mind that it is not allowed to walk on the travertines with your shoes on in order not to harm their untainted beauty.)
After leaving travertines behind, you will see a small lake that is called “Antique Pool of Cleopatra”.
It is said that Cleopatra herself, who was the queen of Egypt loved swimming in this lake. Well, what if we tell you that you can also experience the cool water of this unique lake yourself?

This is not the first time we have contacted with Excursion Market. I can say for sure that the company is proven. People love and know their job. They work quickly, clearly and smoothly. We try to choose different excursions from each trip. But favorites have already appeared. I cannot but mention the Damyan excursion from Marmaris (crab fishing) and the Pamukkale excursion from Marmaris.
The first is notable for the fact that crab fishing is a kind of exotic. And very exciting. The second excursion attracts us with its unique baths. Since Pamukkale is included in many treatment programs. And it turns out we combine business with pleasure, which, of course, cannot but rejoice.
Hi, I go to marmaris next year for cruiser and I ask about excursion if you garante I don”t miss my cruiser because time lapse. Best regards.
We went to Pamukkale from Marmaris with a friend, we were delighted. We recommend buying a tour here, it turns out cheaper. The guys immediately contacted us and answered all the questions. The price is also acceptable. Recommended.
I visited Pamukkale with pleasure, I haven’t been there before. We left for Marmaris very early at 6 in the morning in order to have time to arrive at the opening of Pamukkale and have time to see everything. I liked the road very much, especially when you just leave Marmaris: you drive along a serpentine road, there are rocks on the right, and houses on the left, located right in the mountains and forests. An unforgettable sight. I don’t remember the rest of the road, because I was sleeping) Approaching Pamukkale, I woke up and saw how white travertines became visible from a far. Pamukkale liked it, of course, how such an unusual beauty cannot but please. During the day we saw all the sights located here. Liked it, I recommend it.

We’re glad that you enjoyed our tour! Thanks for the comment! 🙂
It is quite convenient to get from Marmaris to Pamukkale, we do not regret that we bought this tour. It takes about three hours to travel along a very scenic road in a comfortable bus. We were accompanied by an English guide who was telling something almost all the way)) On the way we stopped for breakfast. When we arrived in Pamukkale, it was already noon, it got hot, but walking barefoot along the travertines cheered us up. There was also the opportunity to visit the cleopatra pool, but we did not: we thought that in such heat it was unnecessary to sit in a thermal spring. Keep in mind that you pay for the entrance ticket to pamukkale separately. I liked the rest.
Very pleasant trip. We were offered to change the bus with English speaking people which was great!
Guides on both buses were very helpful, kind and well-mannered.
Everything on this trip done as described! Perfect!
