Marmaris is located in the south-western part of Turkey, along the cost of Mediterranean Sea.
The exact location, however, is the junction point of the Mediterranean Sea and the Aegean Sea, and this gives unique beauty. Other than the location, Marmaris is the second most crowded district of Mugla with nearly 92k population, though this number can reach to millions during summer.
In addition to its qualities that makes it very popular, Marmaris is easy to access since it is located in between two airports: Dalaman Airport (90 km) and Milas-Bodrum Airport (130 km).
Thus, you can select either of them to land and make your way to Marmaris. Still, we strongly suggest you to choose Dalaman since it would be quicker and cheaper for you to arrive from the airport unless you want to spend some time in Bodrum.

The first thing that comes to mind when the topic is things to do is to enjoy the summer to the fullest; and it is very easy given the limitless options provided by this town.
The beaches such as Public Beach and Uzunyali Beach are the most popular ones due to their location which are at the center of the town, and they are free to enter.
