Our Constatntine city tour kicks off at 09:00 when you meet your guide at the hotel's lobby. Our excursion commences with a visit to the museum and the magnificent Ottoman architectural gem, the Palace of Ahmed Bey. Here, you'll wander through its courtyards, stroll amidst the lush gardens, and marvel at the vibrant tiles adorned with intricate motifs and mosaics that will surely ignite your sense of wonder.

Sidi M'Cid Bridge

Next, we'll stroll along the narrow streets of the Casbah and wander down the Boulevard of the Abyss. Along the way, you'll enjoy stunning views of the landscape through the deep gorges. Our journey will lead us to the city's most famous landmark—the impressive Sidi M'Cid suspension bridge. Rising 175 meters (575 feet) high and spanning 168 meters, this bridge connects the city to the hill, offering an unforgettable sightseeing experience.

Monument to the Dead

Once we've crossed the suspension bridge, we'll head up the stairs on the left side. We'll climb until we reach the spacious area where the Monument to the Dead stands. This memorial takes the form of a triumphal arch crowned by a statue of the winged victory. It's a tribute to the brave souls who lost their lives in World War I.

Lunch Time

After that we'll enjoy lunch at a lovely restaurant, where you'll have the chance to savor our delicious local cuisine and quench your thirst with a selection of refreshing drinks, including juice, tea, or coffee.

Mellah Slimane Footbridge

After lunch we take a walk across the exciting yet wobbly footbridge of Mellah Slimane treats you to a breathtaking view of the mountainous landscape. You'll see houses clinging to the cliffs and a deep ravine below. Plus, from here, you'll spot the historic Bab El Kantara Bridge and the impressive Sidi Rached Viaduct, adding to the scenic spectacle.

The Casbah (Souika) 

After crossing the footbridge, we ascend the staircases or hop on the elevator. Then, we stroll along the bustling Larbi Ben M'Hidi street, where you'll catch a glimpse of the exterior of the ancient 11th-century Great Mosque. Next, we wander into the charming cobblestone alleys of Souika or the Medina. Here, you'll delve into the vibrant small marketplaces that have been around since the 16th century, explore the meat section, and admire the historic houses dating back to the Fatimid period.

Cirta Museum

Following our exploration of the Labyrinth Souika, we make our way towards the city center. You have the option to ascend either the long staircases or the shorter ones, depending on your physical condition. Our destination is the fascinating National Museum of Cirta. Here, you'll discover artifacts dating from prehistoric times to the Roman, Punic, Islamic, and French periods. The ground floor houses the exhibition hall, while the upper floor showcases additional exhibits, excluding the garden area.

Emir Abdelkader Mosque

Next, we'll take a ride and make our way from the main center to our final stop the iconic Emir Abdelkader Mosque, the crowning jewel of Constantine. This magnificent mosque offers a fascinating glimpse into Islamic architecture, showcasing intricate designs and lavish decorations that highlight its beauty and cultural significance.

Return Back to hotel 

After visiting the mosque and capturing some memorable photos, you'll get transfered back to your hotel to rest and spend the night.
